Meet Mark Douglas-Home, author of “The Sea Detective”

Cal McGill, a part-time PhD oceanography student with a macabre interest in floating corpses, comes across a young woman in dirty clothes with scabs and cracked lips. She explains how her friend died three years ago and was fished out of the sea. This isn’t the only unexplained death haunting McGill however…

Mark Douglas-Home’s Edinburgh-based thriller ‘The Sea Detective’ has been a hit both with the critics and with our book groups, so we’re delighted that he’ll be at Lifecare House (2 Cheyne Street) at 2pm this Wednesday (27th June) to talk about the book. The event is free and everyone’s welcome – no booking required.

(This event was originally scheduled to take place at Stockbridge Library)
