Are you part of a local charity, community group or voluntary organisation that is looking for funding?
Edinburgh Libraries provide free online access to Edinburgh4community, a massive online database of Government, Lottery, charitable trust and other funds that you can apply for. It’s super-easy to use and gives you all the information you need to apply for grants including the application forms.
Best of all, you set up your searches to continue to send you new sources of funding as they are added to the database – saving you time and earning you money.
Read through our help instructions or watch the step-by-step guide to get started with looking for funding opportunities.
Then get yourself along to Wester Hailes Library on Monday 18th November where we’ll show you how to source funding opportunites through edinburgh4community.
We’ll also talk to you about other ways libraries can give your club, group or society the help it needs to grow and flourish.
And if your organisation isn’t currently listed on Your Edinburgh we’ll show you how to make sure that it is.
We’ll be in the library from 2.30 – 4.30pm – just pop in whenever you can. Look forward to seeing you there!
Great news for anyone looking to apply for grants or funding – you can now use your library card to log on to Funderfinder – and locate the charitable trusts that could make a grant to meet your particular need.
Search for charities by name or fill in a search profile to find the right funder for you, all from home, work or wherever. There are two versions of the software – one for groups and one for individuals – so head over to Your Library to make the most of this incredibly useful resource.
