The Big Draw

It’s nearly time for The Big Draw, one of the highlights of the library year.

In previous years we’ve collaborated on a re imagined version of the Scott Monument and a vision of the Edinburgh of the future.

This year’s theme is all about celebrating our local environment, so we’re asking you to help us create an Edinburgh street scene in homage to our famous Moromasa scroll.

We’ll be using recycled material from old magazines and gluing them onto an extended roll of paper. Old-school cutting and pasting!

Age, talent and experience is no barrier when it comes to The Big Draw. Everyone can join in and take part in creating something big.

The Big Draw takes place on Friday 31st October in Central Library. Pop in any time between 11.00 am and 4.30 pm to make your contribution, and look out for pictures of the finished masterpiece right here not long after.
