The Lesley Pearse Women of Courage Award was set up in 2006 to acknowledge ordinary women who have achieved extraordinary things.
Five finalists will be selected by a panel of judges that will include Lesley Pearse, one of the UK’s best-loved novelists. The winner will be chosen from this five and she and her family will be treated to a delicious awards lunch with Lesley where she will be presented with a specially crafted commemorative award, a certificate and £100 of Penguin books!
